Geoconstruction

Geoconstruction is a process that ensures stable construction effort through ground engineering. Boart Longyear™ technology drills with less than 1° deviation through all ground types, ensuring straight boreholes. Once pre-drilled, boreholes can be jet grouted with the assurance of proper construction and straight piles.

Confirmation borings of treated or improved soils: Once the ground has been engineered, Boart Longyear crews can perform confirmation borings to ensure the ground engineering was properly done.

Freeze tubes: When soil support or water control is needed Boart Longyear can install casing through which liquid nitrogen is circulated.  The surrounding ground is frozen solid providing temporary structural support and a waterproof barrier.
